A little bit about us
At St George's, we believe in the historical truth of Christianity, which links us back to the original followers of Jesus. We believe He is alive today and that under Him we have responsibility to share with others the forgiveness, healing, love and guidance He gives for our lives.
We are helped in these tasks by our Church Councillors and Wardens (elected annually), our Vicar at St George’s and assistant clergy and lay officials.
As members of the Church of England, we are part of the diocese of Bath and Wells, and the world-wide Anglican Church led by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
We regularly offer the opportunity for anyone to share their questions and concerns about life and to learn more about the Christian faith.
